Maine & Maritimes hired Hammond Electric as the subcontractor to work on the largest wind turbine project in the state of New Hampshire. The twelve 2mw wind turbines in Lempster, New Hampshire, provide clean green alternative wind power directly to the utility grid.

Hammond Electric laid the underground infrastructure for this project, which included six miles of piping and wiring, grounding electrode systems, 5kv of direct burial cable, and conduits for the fiber-optic system.
